This hotel enjoys an ideal location on the cliff top at Southbourne, adjacent to the cliff lifts and Fishermans Walk. Southampton Airport is 55 km away and it is 145 km to Bristol Airport. This family-friendly hotel was built in 1928 and was originally called Crawford's Tea Rooms. In the war it was used to house serving American airmen. In the early 1950s, an extension was added and it became a bar and hotel. Not long after that, it became a full hotel with 12 en suite rooms, a restaurant and a bar. There is limited complimentary parking on-site and a designated disabled parking space. There is off-road parking in the streets nearby. All of the newly refurbished bedrooms come with a private bathroom with toiletries from Gilchrist and Somas and offer brand-new deep-pocket sprung divans, luxurious duvets and pillows. All of the bathrooms have also been refurbished with new English fittings and power showers. The rooms are equipped with a TV, a radio alarm and tea and coffee making facilities.
