About Island House South Beach

This historic hotel has retained its Art Deco style and lies at the heart of South Beach, Florida, on Collins Avenue. Thanks to its ideal location, everything is easily accessible on foot from the hotel: for example, Ocean Drive with its white sandy beaches is just one block away, as is the exciting nightlife, a selection of restaurants, street cafés and famous designer shops. The hotel is the perfect location for a break in South Beach, even if guests are primarily staying for business reasons. Established in 1948 and extensively renovated in 2002, this hotel comprises a total of 24 rooms spread over 2 floors. Hotel facilities include a hire safe and a breakfast room. The luxurious rooms are large and comprise 2 beds as well as a separate dressing room. Each of the rooms comes with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, an iron and ironing board, a hire safe as well as a kitchenette with a small fridge, an oven and a microwave. It is possible to relax on the sun loungers at no extra charge, take shade under the parasols and use the pool towels. From Miami International Airport: From the terminal follow the signs for SR-836 East. Continue on SR-836 East to I-395 East. Stay straight to go onto the I-395 East. Continue straight onto 5th Street. Turn left onto Collins Avenue. After 1 km the hotel is to be found on the left-hand side.
