By car: Follow the A1 to the A64. Exit the A64 at the YORK WEST signpost and take the A1036. Follow the A1036 to the city gate (Micklegate Bar). Turn right at the traffic lights and keep the City Walls on your left until you reach Skeldergate Bridge.
