Situated on the Lista di Spagna in the heart of the Cannaregio quarter, the Minerva can be easily reached on foot from the railway station, as well as the Piazzale Roma bus and car terminals. Water bus (Vaporetto) stops on the Grand Canal are just a few steps away. Having been in the same family for over 60 years, the Minerva continues the tradition of the hotel's founder (affectionately know as Grandpa Gigi) and the current owners enjoy making sure that guests not only experience the main historical and cultural sights of Venice, but also those off the beaten track. All who work at the Minerva Hotel take great pride in the standard of the accommodation, as well as the service they offer. Guestrooms are simply yet tastefully furnished and all are complemented with original antique furniture from the region ? clean, shared bathrooms are located on each floor and maintained regularly thanks to daily cleaning rota. Environmentally conscious guests should also note that the Minerva operates a Green policy, using only eco friendly cleaning and laundry products as well as running the hotel on sustainable energy. In our opinion this is an unbeatable choice in terms of location, standard, service and price - thoroughly recommended! Guests should note that local city tax is not included in the rate booked. This will be charged directly to guests by the hotel and payable at check in/out.
