Quinta das Vinhas, a charming 17th-century manor house nestled within vineyards in Calheta, Madeira Island, offers a unique retreat. Spread across the property are several charming houses, two inviting outdoor pools, and the main manor house, which has been tastefully renovated while preserving original features such as the old water filter and bread oven in the now adapted dining room. Guests can choose to stay in one of the six comfortable bedrooms within the manor house or opt for a private house featuring a kitchenette for self-catering. A delicious buffet breakfast is available at the manor house, and upon request, dinner can be enjoyed at our Bago restaurant. The terrace, shaded by ancient oak trees, provides a serene spot for relaxation. Wine tastings and guided tours of the wine cellars and vineyards are available on site. Funchal is 36 km away, and Madeira Airport is a convenient 45-minute drive.
